This gigantic Shiva Lingam is claimed to be the tallest Shiva Lingam of the State. This Shiva Lingam has been constructed using funds and materials donated by the villagers of Mahaling. Junagarh MLA and Minister of State (MoS) Home Dibya Shankar Mishra attended the installation ceremony of the tallest Shiva Lingam. “I offer my gratitude to the villagers of Mahaling for creating a spiritual atmosphere with the participation of one and all. I am extremely proud to be here today. Today Mahaling has justified its name,” said Mishra. “We feel proud that together we could do it. I feel proud to be an inhabitant of Mahaling,” said Paban Agarwal a local of Mahaling village. “We have done it. The Shiva Lingam is 55-feet tall. It is the tallest Shiva Lingam. It’s only in Mahaling,” said a woman of Mahaling village.
