He spoke to the District Collectors through video conferencing. During the review, the chief minister said the COVID19 situation in some states was deteriorating rapidly. “If we do not take immediate action, our state will be in grave danger,” he said. In Odisha, Cuttack, Khordha, Sundargarh and Mayurbhanj districts constitute almost 40 per cent of the cases. The CM also directed the Chief Secretary to monitor the situation closely and conduct regular reviews. Advising the entire administration to take the situation seriously, the Chief Minister appealed to all to re-engage in the Covid war resolutely. He advised the districts bordering Chhattisgarh to be more vigilant.
