Reportedly, some women were going to attend nature’s call when they heard the cries of the baby and immediately informed the villagers. On getting information, the local ASHA and Anganwadi workers rescued the baby with help of police and admitted it to Koksara Hospital. While the baby’s health is stable, it will be shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) at Bhawanipatna under the supervision of two ASHA workers.
