Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Kalahandi and Nuapada district today to inaugurate several welfare projects and also to lay foundation stones for many other projects.
The Chief Minister will also give away assistances to beneficiaries under different Government schemes and also address public meetings.
As per the schedule, the Chief Minister will visit Junagarh, Bhangabari in Kalahandi district. Later Patnaik will visit Kharial, Sinapali in Nuapada district.
The Chief Minister will lay foundation stones for power, rice and other projects in the two districts. He will inaugurate several projects, including drinking water, new college building, hostels roads, lift irrigation projects and ITIs.
Meanwhile, opposition parties geared up to draw Patnaik’s attention to outbreak of killer Japanese Encephalitis (JE) in Malkangiri, the breakdown of law and order.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made at the venues to be visited by the Chief Minister.
